Talk about Your Family History

My mother’s side of the family lived in several different countries, while my father’s family has been settled in Serbia for generations.

My grandmother, my mother’s mother, was originally from Greece, while my grandfather came from Macedonia. When they married, they decided to move to Serbia where the majority of my mother’s side of the family now lives.

My father’s side of the family lived in Serbia for generations going back to Austria-Hungary.

My grandfather, my father’s father, was a very capable person. He was an entrepreneur, a musician, a painter and he spoke three different languages, one of which was Esperanto. My father, on the other hand, got married three times, but he was the first in the family to finish college.

Overall, my family moved all over Europe. Even now, I have relatives living in six different countries.
