Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 500g ground pork
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees C.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir ground pork in hot oil until crumbly and evenly browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper. 

Step 3

Salt the sliced potato, then oil the bottom of the baking dish. Put a row of sliced potatoes on the bottom of the dish to cover it. Add a row of meat mixture. Then put another row of potatoes followed by a row of meat. Make sure to end with a row of potatoes. 

Step 4

Mix milk, salt and the beaten egg into a small bowl. Pour the mixture into the baking dish to spread evenly and cover the last row of potatoes.

Step 5

Bake in the preheated oven until the top is golden brown, around one hour.
